| Summary | 0004938: attachment repair stall due to admin security | ||||||||||
| Description | if a forum has many attachments missing the repair to resolve this can hang and do no further progress if the admin is not watching and it takes several hours. due to the request of the admin password after 1 hour of being logged into the admin panel the refresh of the process will stall out and not continue until the admin puts the password in again. | ||||||||||

Any suggestions on how to fix that? One possibility is use a CLI tool. Another is to have an AJAX popup with the information. The third, and hardest to swallow, would be to ignore the timeout for that. |

Or these types of actions could use their own timeout that gets set at the end of a successful batch and is only valid for a few seconds. |

I marked the other issue as solved, but I'm not 100% sure this is, so let's keep it on the radar. |
