Summary | 0004989: chars allowed in posts and altering of table
Description | I think we have discussed it somewhere, but since I found another pet to play with I didn't had time to sort it out, so let's track it to not forget. At the moment it's possible to change the maximum limit of chars for a post, when this number is higher than the limit of text field in mysql (~65k) SMF alters the table changing it to mediumtext and disables the index on the field. When the limit is moved back it alters again the table back to text. Many bad things, so it should be changed.
